This project involved reuse planning for the recently shuttered Malden Hospital, exploring strategies to reposition the existing facility for new life. Study options included conversion to administrative offices, outpatient clinics, external lease spaces, and research and development uses. The work was grounded in a comprehensive facility assessment, supported by rough order of magnitude cost estimates and a phased implementation strategy. Planning focused on maintaining operations for existing occupants while renovation work progressed, balancing feasibility, flexibility, and long-term value.
