Our team conducted a comprehensive review of hospital business volumes and developed a detailed benchmarking study for a 260,000 square-foot facility. This analysis involved examining various aspects of the hospital’s operations, including patient flow, departmental efficiency, and overall service utilization. By comparing these metrics against industry-accepted standards and proprietary planning models, we were able to identify key areas for improvement and optimization. This benchmarking study provided valuable insights that helped the hospital understand its performance relative to similar institutions and guided strategic decision-making for future growth and development.
In addition to the benchmarking study, we conducted thorough space utilization studies to evaluate how effectively the hospital’s physical space was being used. This involved assessing the allocation and functionality of different departments and identifying opportunities to enhance spatial efficiency and patient care delivery. Our team also assisted in preparing a full infrastructure study of the hospital’s MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems. This study evaluated the current state of the hospital’s infrastructure, identified areas in need of upgrades or maintenance, and provided recommendations to ensure the facility’s systems could support its operational needs. We then implemented design and construction of an ice plant under the hospital’s main parking lot for grid buffering.
